Now you see him, now you don’t…

Liu Bolin is more than your average urban chameleon, he’s making an artistic statement out of it. Since his studio was shut down by the Chinese government, Liu has been doing his “Hiding In The City” photographic series / performance, as a protest against the government policies that prey on contemporary artists like him.

I’m no disguise master, but I can see a good undercover agent when I see one (read: don’t see one). Even with my eagle eye I have to admit that it took me a second longer to unveil the caterpillar photo. Impressive work…
