You would think these are impossible places but they are all around us. Temporary phased out from our perception, they become real when Michael Levin points a camera at them.

He’s a master in depicting this smooth landscapes in it’s most minimalistic solitude. This are photos from his travels to Japan and I cannot but feel an increased admiration and curiosity towards the land of the rising sun.

“I always think that being a good photographer is less about knowing rules than knowing yourself. What I make of a subject comes from inside of me.”

These are endless landscapes, immersed in stunning simplicity.
