I love when I get happily surprised about something that I didn’t knew, especially when it comes from someone like my girlfriend.

Last weekend we went to a photo exhibition at the Amsterdam Jewish museum and I was introduced to the works of an artist that could very well be my next big inspiration. I’m a big fan of street photography as well as abstract expressionism, two art fields that Saul Leiter combines with immaculate sensibility in his pictures. He is as much of a photographer as he is a painter, brushing his photographs with layers of colors and elements depicted from the streets of New york.

If you are in the Amsterdam area, this is definitely a must see exhibition.
